The Center partners beyond our borders with other colleges and missions in fruitful study opportunities around the world, including:

• Israel • Korea • Africa • Global Teams

Study in Israel
The Center offers students the opportunity to study in Israel. Living and studying in the land where Biblical events actually took place deepens the understanding of Scripture, increases our ability to communicate its message, and expands cultural awareness and sensitivity to world events. To facilitate such a living experience, the Center for Biblical Studies, cooperates with Jerusalem University College (JUC), and accepts their classes for academic credit and personal growth study. These courses are the Geographical and Historical Setting of the Bible, and Jesus and His Times, as well as a Short Term Pastor and Parishioner Study Tour. All applicants to JUC must complete a medical information form, since field work involves strenuous and sustained hiking in rugged terrain, and applications must be received three months prior to the program desired. One year of college work required. Please contact the Registrar for further information.

Daily hiking to visit sites not normally viewed by typical holy land tours can be rigorous and sustained in rugged terrain. Participants must be in excellent physical condition. Skilled instructors will challenge your thinking and make Bible reading and teaching come alive as never before. The program is offered in late October and again in April.

The African Book Project

Materials are made available in response to requests from believers in Kakamega, Kenya. This non-credit program is under the direction of Center partner David Fritz. Additional Christian materials are being sent to libraries in several parts of the African continent.
